first_img Bill Signing,  Press Release Harrisburg, PA –  Governor Wolf today signed the following bills into law:Act 127 (Benninghoff) – Amends Title 23 (Domestic Relations), in adoption, further providing for definitions and for original birth record.Act 128 (Mustio) – Act relating to the practice of naturopathic medicine; providing for the issuance of licenses and the suspension and revocation of licenses; and providing for penalties.Act 129 (Mackenzie) – Amends the Money Transmission Business Licensing Law further providing for title, defs., license required & exemptions; repealing provisions; for licenses, fees, investigation issuance, auth. of Dept. of Banking; & for penalties.Act 130 (Vereb) – Amends the act creating the Delaware River Joint Commission providing for gubernatorial veto.Act 131 (Vereb) – Amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) providing for conflicts of interest; and repealing and adding provisions relating to independent counsel.Act 132 (Quinn) – Amends Title 40 (Insurance) providing for unclaimed life insurance benefits.Act 133 (Goodman) – Amends Municipal Code and Ordinance Compliance Act further providing for defs.; providing for issuance of use & occupancy certificate & for applicability; & further providing for compliance requirement.Act 134 (Stephens) – Amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses), in firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms.Act 135 (Mackenzie) – Amends Titles 51 (Military Affairs), providing for voluntary veterans’ preference in private employment; and, in veteran-owned small businesses, for definitions, & for regulations & providing for business fee exemption.Act 136 (Millard) – Amends Title 75 (Vehicles), in snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles, further providing for operation by persons under age sixteen and for mufflers and noise control.Act 137 (Harhart) – Amends the Cosmetology Law further providing for student practice upon the public for pay prohibited.Act 138 (Benninghoff) – Amends Public School Code, in pupils & attendance, for defs., attendance policy at charter, regional charter & cyber charter schools, penalties, procedure when child habitually truant, citation & penalties & operation privilege.Act 139 (Christiana) – Act authorizing the Department of General Services to grant and convey certain lands, buildings and improvements.Act 140 (Kampf) – Act authorizing the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor, to grant & convey to Upper Merion Township certain lands situate in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County..Act 141 (Sankey) – Act authorizing DGS, with the approval of PennDOT and the Governor, to grant & convey, at a price to be determined through a competitive bid process, certain lands, buildings & improvements situate in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County.Act 142 (Farry) – Amends Titles 35 (Health & Safety) & 42 (Judiciary), in emergency medical services system, further providing for duties of department & for first aid & other safety services; & in governance, for criminal laboratory user fee.Act 143 (Phillips-Hill) – Amends Public School Code, in certification of teachers, further providing for issuing permanent college certificates, for program of continuing professional education and for professional educator discipline fee.Like Governor Tom Wolf on Facebook: Facebook.com/GovernorWolf November 03, 2016 SHARE Email Facebook Twittercenter_img Governor Wolf Signs 17 Bills into Lawlast_img
