Off-duty FWC Officer Shot, Killed in Hendry County

first_imgAccording to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call that someone was shot on Sunday morning.When deputies arrived at the scene, they found 30-year-old Julian Keen Jr., who was off duty at the time, dead.Courtesy: Hendry County Sheriff’s Office/Facebook Investigators with the sheriff’s office, along with the assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), are investigating the homicide.“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, members of FWC, friends and community”, said Hendry County Sheriff Steven Whidden. “We will do everything we can to bring about justice to those guilty in his shooting death.”Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (863) 674-0406.
