Tennessee is one of several schools after Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic QB Jarrett Guarantano, a 4-star signal caller in the class of 2016. Ohio State and Rutgers have both led for Guarantano at different points in his recruitment, but the Vols are making a strong push for the 6-foot-4, 200-pound signal caller. Tonight, Guarantano posted a photo edit that the Tennessee staff sent him. It featured his name on a street sign, and the hypothetical street named after him just happened to intersect with the real one named after the most famous quarterback in UT history. Favorite QB to ever play the game .. Coach Butch and the coaches hooked this up ! #VolNation #GBO #VFL pic.twitter.com/HtVvTKdOYD— Jarrett Guarantano (@Guarantano18) March 10, 2015Guarantano wears No. 18 in high school, which of course is Manning’s number in the NFL. Will the New Jersey product suit up in Neyland Stadium like Peyton did? His recruitment has been full of twists and turns, so only time will tell.
