Parliamentary Elections Reflect Vitality of Democracy in Morocco French FM

Paris – Parliamentary elections held on Friday in Morocco reflect the vitality of democracy in the Kingdom, France’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday.“France welcomes the successful conduct of the second parliamentary elections in Morocco since the adoption of the Constitution of 2011,” French Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Romain Nadal, said on Monday in a press briefing.These elections “reflect the vitality of democracy in Morocco,” he pointed out, noting that the kingdom is a “steadfast partner” of France. Observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe praised the “transparency” of these elections, he added.
