OPP are reminding people to wear a lifejacket on a boat after an unfortunate incident occurred at Sunday’s Pottahawk boat party.Police say that just before 6 p.m. a man on a boat lost his hat and reached over the edge of the vessel to attempt to retrieve it, at which point he fell in the water. The woman on board knew he was not a strong swimmer so she attempted to throw a lifejacket to him but the wind caught it and carried it to the other side of the boat.
