Crysis 2 PC Multiplayer demo out March 1

first_imgWith all the problems surrounding the leaked versions of Crysis 2 appearing on file-sharing networks last week, EA and Crytek are keen to sway people’s attention away from this incomplete version by releasing a multiplayer PC demo on March 1.The demo includes two maps and two modes of play. You will also be able to get to grips with the game’s signature “Nanosuit”, which can be used to increase your strength, speed and agility (not to mention making you invisible).Players will be able to compete in six vs six matches in war-torn Manhattan in two maps called “Skyline”–set on the rooftops and interiors of skyscrapers, and “Pier 17”–an open environment play area with limited cover. The two modes of play we mentioned above will consist of “Team Instant Action” which will pit two teams against each other, the aim is simple: to kill as many opponents as possible to win the round. You then have “Crash Site” where players will be required to control alien drop pods. Points are awarded by guarding their pods and keeping enemies at bay.The full game of Crysis 2 will features six gameplay modes and 12 maps set in locations across New York City. Throughout the multiplayer campaign you will be able to earn up to 50 ranks and a variety of different weapon and “Nanosuit” upgrades.Read more at MyCrysis.comlast_img
